How to set the duelgo title
The title is the first step of the editor. Players see it in the duelgo header and in the link preview when it's shared; in the studio, it's how you find the duelgo on the dashboard.
- Open the duelgo in the editor
On the duelgo overview, click Edit in editor, or simply carry on right after creating a new duelgo.
- Choose the “Title” step
In the editor's top bar, pick the first step, Title.
- Write the title
The text saves automatically — you'll see “Saved at …” in the editor header. The title must be at least 3 characters long, otherwise the editor won't let you continue.
How the title relates to the duelgo address
A duelgo has two addresses: the long one (duelgo.fun/dlg/nazev-duelga), derived from the title, and the short link (duelgo.fun/xxxx), which you set when publishing and which never changes by itself.
While the duelgo is a draft with no players, the long address changes when you rename it. Once you publish the duelgo or someone answers in it, the long address locks and renaming no longer changes it — shared links, QR codes and website embeds won't break.
Even so, we recommend always sharing the short link — it's stable, prettier and easy to read out loud.
